Welcome to the meditation member's portal
Meditation members join together twice a week of an online meditation specifically targeted to helping people living with chronic pain, illness, exhaustion and burnout.
Each meditation is suitable for all levels of meditation experience. They last for about 15-20 minutes and draw on a wide range of meditation styles and techniques.
Members come from all walks of life, from many parts of the globe and we join together for these few minutes each week to quiet our minds, connect with our bodies and find a place of peace within.
Why meditate if you're living with chronic health issues?
Meditation has many benefits for our health, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Many chronic conditions are flared when we experience too much stress, and meditation's primary benefit is to turn off the stress response and move our body into what's known as our rest and repair state. From here, the body is able to handle our health concerns much more successfully, which can lead to healing or a reduction in symptoms.
However, even when healing or symptom improvement isn't occuring, the benefits to our mental and emotional experience of life cannot be understated. Meditation assists in learning to better handle difficult thoughts and feelings, as well as helping us be calmer in moments of stress, tension and conflict. This can result in benefits in our relationships and ability to forgive others and find peace, day-to-day.
